Fun with circuits, January 7, 2008

Got Snap Circuits Jr. SC-100 for my 7 yr old - and we had a great time with it. I started the first couple of projects with him and then he took over and was able to create all sorts of noisy fun. So far, he has learned about a basic circuit, however the book doesn't really require him to learn about the components and what they do. But that doesn't stop it from being fun.

I got Snap Circuits Jr. SC-100 set for my 9 year old son who took a Snap Circuits class in summer school. He loves it! Very educational, easy to follow instructions to build very interesting projects with a fan , light, and sirens. Holds his attention for long stretches. We got Snap Circuits Jr. SC-100 for our 12 y/o boy (a hard to buy for age). He really likes putting together the different configurations and experiments and will bring them to us, "Hey, look what I made this time!" Great for rainy days, keeps him busy and interested for several hours at a time! I recommend Snap Circuits Jr. SC-100 for that hard to buy for teen age!
